(Santa Fe Springs, CA)- Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano (D-Norwalk) honored 26 women volunteers in the 38th District at her annual “Women of the Year – Unsung Heroines” event held April 26 at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello.
The Congresswoman thanked dozens of family members and friends of the recipients for sacrificing their own personal time with these outstanding women so they could better serve their communities.
“You are an inspiration to others and your work is invaluable,” said Congresswoman Napolitano.
Keynote speaker Angela Savoian with the Armenian Relief Society of Western U.S.A., Inc., Honorary Chair of the Event Montebello Mayor Bob Bagwell, and Master of Ceremonies Montebello City Treasurer Gerri Guzman also paid tribute to the women and their tireless giving.
