Women of the Year: Unsung Heroines
On Saturday, May 16th at the Town Center Hall in Sante Fe Springs, Rep. Grace F. Napolitano honored thirty-one women for their volunteer service to the community as the 2009 “Women of the Year.” The keynote speaker was Brigadier General Angela Salinas, Commanding General of the San Diego Marine Corp Recruit Depot, and a Commanding General of the Western Recruiting Region.
